I got my first camera as a graduation gift in 1978 - a Fuji ST-801 - great manual camera with which I got to learn a lot about (the camera side of) photography. I'd say ~100% of the photos I take are not for the $ and ~2% I still get paid for... I shoot vacations,parties,trips, sporting events, and local festivals (when I can) and try to get out to shoot nature and even some "interesting stuff." When asked, I'll do a wedding or seniors or maternity or engagement or some portraits. Most of the stuff I shoot is to provide photos for my family, friends and parents/coaches of our local athletes and performers.
