Updated.

I am a 50 year old guy living in Wichita, Kansas, and a fifth generation Kansan.

I found my love of photography during my sophomore year of High School in 1983/84. Dale Stratman was my Photo teacher at Northwest.

I have been a Pentax guy from the begining,

Nowadays I mostly shoot with my full frame Pentax K1 and Pentax K3.

In the past several years I have tried to take at least one long photo trip each year.

I started to call these trips Photo Safaris.

These trips have taken me through Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico and of course my home state of Kansas.

Last year was the first International Photo Safari, it took me to Germany and Austria.

This years Photo Safari has been spit into two separate trips. The first a few weeks ago, I traveled to the Coast of Oregon and the mountains of Washington State.

The second leg, an international one begins soon.

I will be traveling to Iceland, renting a camper eight days, driving around the entire island.

It should be the adventure of a lifetime. And it was.

The 2019 Photo Safari will take me to France and Belgium.
