Hi all! I am happily married to a wonderful man. Our first baby was a pit bull named Q-ball, he was with us for 12 wonderful years. He passed away April 17, 2006. Our hearts were broken and I was seriously depressed from losing him. God love our friends Wade & Mishele, who blessed us with our beautiful brindle boy boxer, Scooter, who has changed our lives and made us happier than we have been in a long time. He is absolutely wonderful! Full of so much energy and very much the clown! He was born on July 1, 2006, and he has come to make us realize that we can't live without him in our lives! He is the absolute best! Believe me, I will be posting alot of pics on here of him! We tell him every day how handsome he is and before he gets a treat, we ask him if he is and he barks at us telling us he is very handsome! I love that trick!
We live in Indiana in a nice quiet neighborhood, and the funny thing is, I haven't seen a boxer anywhere around here. Everybody loves ours and we get all kinds of comments on how beautiful he is, but I don't think there are very many around here.
We also have our beautiful blind Chihuahua, Bruno. He was a rescue that came to us May 1, 2007. The vet said he was probably 2 or 3 years old. We gave him a birthday of August 17, and we say he will be 3 this year (2008). It took a little while for him to trust us. We think he was abused & someone threw him out to fend for himself. How he made it to us through the streets without getting hit is amazing. We even tried to find him a home, ads in the paper, phone calls. I even had a friend at work take him. That didn't even last an hour. So he was destined to be ours, and I am so glad! He is our world & I don't know what I would do without him. He definitely can take care of himself. He shows Scooter who's boss! It's kinda funny that the boxer is afraid of the chihuahua!
As you can tell by my photostream, I am very proud & very much in love with my 3 fellas. My husband, my boxer & my chihuahua. And may my pit rest in peace, I love him deeply & always will. They are my life, my world. I love nothing more than to come home with Scooter meeting me at the door, smothering me with kisses. Seeing Bruno all excited running around in circles waiting on me to pick him up so I can get a kiss. And with him, you better be very quick, cause the kiss is so fast and so light, most of the time I miss it. But thats ok, I know he loves me & happy to have me home. My husband says that he lays on him quiet all night, but as soon as I get home, he squeaks his toy non-stop. And this toy is so big, he can barely get it in his mouth. But he goes crazy with it. And of course, the kiss from my husband is sweet too.
I have posted alot of pics on here, and will post alot more. I love showing them off! And thank you to all for all of your comments. I appreciate it! And keep them coming :-)!
