Travel to nice places, meet nice people, take photos. Photography has become a passion that has grown since I started this account back in 2006.
I play guitar in a couple of bands. I travel a bit for work and try to take shots of the places I visit. I am married to the lovely Sarah have three grown up great kids.
Countries visited = 43, US States visited = 33. Looking forward to more trips to new places. I love Cornwall more than any Londoner has the right to. I get there whenever my busy diary allows.
Likes: Photography, Chilli, Beer, late Friday nights and late Sunday mornings, the coast., Chuck Taylor All Stars, Guitars (esp. Telecasters), Cornwall, London, Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Newcastle, Hong Kong. I have tried and failed many times to learn how to surf, so now I just watch in awe at the fun surfers seem to have.
Music: I am mainly listening to Jesse Malin, Marah, Paul Weller and Bruce Springsteen. Foo Fighters, The Jam, KT Tunstall, Sheryl Crow, The Who, Ben Howard. Pretty much anything with a guitar. Also 60s Atlantic Soul, Stax and R&B, Aretha, Otis Redding, Smokie Robinson, Sam Cooke. Also any calming classical music.
Books: Steinbeck and other Americana, Cold Mountain, Shipping News, Tenderness of Wolves, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Widow of the South, No country for old men, Bill Bryson, Robert Harris, Sebastian Faulks, Helen Dunmore.
Dislikes: People who start sentences with the phrase “I'm not a racist but...”, tangled guitar leads.

I started keeping an eye on Keith's photostream because I was intrigued by his "52 Weeks of Separation" album. Now all the albums intrigue me. Keith has a talent for composition, tone and colour that many WISH they had, but more than that he manages to inject a note of real emotion and feeling into his shots; even though sometimes I'm sure he doesn't mean to! It's this that makes his comments and critique even more valuable, because you know he's not just looking with a technical eye, he's looking with an artists eye. I've watched him really emerge as a character this year, and as a photographer, and it's been a real pleasure and treat to do so!

I'm not a racist, but..LOL...just had to get that in their. Keith is one of my favorite photographers and flickr buddies. A look through his photostream tells you quite a bit about his method and style. Keith has an eye for detail, shapes, color, and a strong sense of how all of those components pull together into a great composition. He is a bit more advanced than most here on flickr, and thus his critique (either good or bad) has a level of credibility that others may not possess. Further, he is out there doing it. Not one to sit at home and take pictures of his cat, Keith actually goes places and gets good images. Plainly stated, he is one of the few that I knew I could call in a tough situation to capture images...and know that he would come back with great work that is eminently marketable. Keith is a great guy, a trusted flickrite, and one whose photostream you need to keep your eye on! Tiny Malone CEO jmark media llc
