Drag to set position!
I was born in the Netherlands and came to Canada at the age of five. My father was a professional photographer, so I was exposed to photography at an early age. I worked in graphic arts for many years and did stained glass on the side. Later, I graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Physical & Environmental Geography and Geographic Information. Meanwhile, I was a single dad bringing up two boys who are very close in age. I eventually wound up as an adult literacy instructor with the Toronto District School Board and I'm now retired. I love to read, and I dabble in music.
The pictures presented in this photostream were mostly taken back in the 70s and early 80s. I recently scanned some of the original negs and transparencies, and this is what I came up with. The scanner was of a relatively low resolution, but it sufficed. Each image is connected to a memory or a thought.
