First of all,

nice to see you have stumbled onto my profile page.

My name is Jan and I happen to live in Cologne, Germany where I study special needs education to become a special needs teacher.

Besides that I do a lot of photography wherever I can.

I originate from the north of Germany, namely Hamburg, the best city in the world - according to the inhabitants.

So in my stream you will find many pictures from around Hamburg as well as a lot from Cologne

Recently I started to do things like weddings (tough but great work) and pictures for websites. So if you are in need for pictures in Germany and like what you see on my stream, drop me a line, I will be delighted to help you out and I am definitely not expensive (yet;))

The pictures I take range from portrait (natural light, no studio, since i am still saving for strobist equipment) to all kinds of macro and recently landscape with focus on HDR images.

I can see that I am still evolving, changing the style of what kiind of images I create from time to time. On the one hand this comes from an interest in new stuff, when i discover it and want to try it for myself (like HDR at the moment) and on the other I simply find it to be boring to stick to one style or aspect of photography while there is still so much for me to discover. When I am through with all the good stuff, I might develop a favourite "style", but up until then I do not want to (or at least not conciously ;))
