My name is René Schmidt. I am a 40 year old man from Denmark. I have folded origami since around 2016. I got started with origami late in life, as I was 35 years old when I started, so I have only been folding origami for roughly 5 years.

I use Flickr to show some of the origami models I have folded, so that other people can see my work, and also keep a record for myself, so that I can see if my skills get better over time.

Also I use Flickr alot to get inspiration for new things to fold, and to see some of the incredible origami that exists, and the people who create it.

I am a fan of the work of Robert J. Lang, João Charrua, Erik Gjerde, Joel Cooper, Tomoko Fuse, Éric Joisel and many, many, many other origami folders.
