ABOUT DAVID SCHEFER DESIGN

David Schefer Design, LLC provides a wide range of design services for both commercial and residential clients. Since 1997, our firm has specialized in high-profile restaurants, commercial projects, and distinctive residences, many featured in Metropolitan Home, Elle Decor, House and Garden, The New York Times, Interior Design, Hospitality Design, Food and Wine and Wallpaper magazine. Our professional credentials are in architectural design, interior design, furniture construction, painted finishes and textiles. The extent of our experience and the strength of our background allow us to consistently help our clients transform great ideas into great spaces.

PRINCIPALS

David Schefer holds a Masters of Architecture degree from Washington University in St. Louis. His professional experience ranges from urban design to residential and commercial interior renovations.

Eve-Lynn Schoenstein was graduated from Sarah Lawrence College and received a Masters of Fine Arts in furniture and textile design from California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland. In addition she received a degree in interior design from New York School of Interior Design. Eve-Lynn specializes in selecting materials, finishes and furniture. Her projects have included restaurants, hotels, theaters, performing arts centers and private homes.

Eve-Lynn and David are married and have a son, Theo.
