I live in Washington, D.C. and make my daily living as an urban architect. I supplement my passion for art and design through photography by capturing the expression of form, light, and material in the built envoronment. My interest in photography started during a trip in Europe to study classical and modern architecture, and the camera (in conjunction with sketching) was how I documented the elements and qualities that I thought were successful.

My approach to photography is to continue defining these characteristics of man-made and natural spaces that evoke a strong and memorable sense of place. Through photographic media and abstract scene composition, I hope to extract these wonderful spatial qualities and present them in an artistic format that you'll be able to experience, too.
