Mas percebi que encontramos também pessoas extraordinárias E era isso que queria dizer de Maria Teresa Teixeira; ela é extraordinária. Pessoa da maior qualidade, culta, domina seu ofício e encontra tempo para ser On atenciosa, cordial e generosa. E mais, ela não é apenas Fotógrafa, mas Artista na plena acepção, que, casualmente usa a câmera como ferramenta. Maria Teresa é inspiradora. Gracias Teresa. On Flickr we see the world, we discover extraordinary photographers and others (like myself) not that much, because it is difficult to be extraordinary in these days of mass-produced imagery. But I've realized that we also find extraordinary people. And that's what I meant of Maria Teresa Teixeira; she is extraordinary. A person of the highest caliber, literate, she excells in her craft and finds time to be considerate, friendly and generous. And also, she isn't just a photographer, but a true artist, who sometimes happens to use her camera as a tool. Maria Teresa is inspiring. Thank you Teresa.

Teresa Teixeira has a gift. Her eye sees and composes photographs of remarkable beauty and depth. Photographing what light strikes is a compulsion of all the citizens of Flickr. But Teresa’s talents go far beyond because photographing is to her an act as natural as breathing or moving at will. The poetry of the light is hard to recognize in our daily life but easy to understand when seen from her photographic perspective. It shows in the compositions, in the chosen angles , in the consistent but varied themes, in what light reveals as much as hides in shadow, and sometimes in her deciphering what distinguishes the ho hum from the outstanding. Teresa has no formal training. Her abilities are intrinsic and continue to grow artistically. I am very proud to know her.

You brought me to Flickr and my life has changed since then. I feel it' s time to write my testimonial about you. But, what can I say? I can say that you are a great photographer. But no, you are not. You are much more than that! I can say that you are a good person. But no, you are not. You are much more than that! I can say that you are an inteligent, sensitive, creative, supportive, dynamic, generous, pleasant, nice person. But no, you are not. You are much more than that!
