I'm Peter Scargill - and these are my photographs spanning from the back end of the 20th century to today.
I alternate between homes in the UK and Spain (with the emphasis on the latter after the twin UK fiascos of Brexit and Covid) with my wife Maureen and our cats and I enjoy all aspects of digital photography.
As a kid back in the 1960s, I used to mess with photo developing chemicals and army surplus black and white film. My first ever camera as a teenager was a Practika (Christmas present) - rapidly replaced by a Pentax when the mirror failed on Christmas day. Since then I've had all manner of SLR and other types of camera yet amazingly, few of my pre-1990s photos survive. Today I enjoy taking photos, particularly HDR photos - until recently often carrying around a decent digital camera, but increasingly using nothing more than a decent mobile phone - processing them through the tools of the day and making them available for others to see.
I enjoy travelling with my wife and I'm interested in photography, IOT, general electronics and programming, cinema and generally living life to the full.
