SCAD Atlanta Student Ambassadors
Drag to set position!
The SCAD Student Ambassador Program was founded by the Admission Department with the goal of cultivating public relations and leadership skills in current students, while offering a unique perspective on the college to prospective students. Student Ambassadors are a group of diverse, dynamic individuals who are enthusiastic and have a strong desire to represent their University. The Student Ambassador program operates in both Atlanta and Savannah.
Student Ambassadors positively promote the college through interaction with prospective students. Student Ambassadors serve as college hosts for prospective students and their families on SCAD Days, helping to answer questions and assist visitors from a student’s point of view.
Student Ambassadors participate in a variety of activities and events and are trained in various aspects of the admission process. They learn college history and become familiar with the college resources. Student Ambassadors gain leadership, networking, and public speaking skills.
The SCAD Student Ambassadors are affiliated with the CASE Association for Student Advancement Programs. This organization holds regional and national conferences, which SCAD Student Ambassadors are encouraged to attend. SCAD Student Ambassadors may present at conferences, run for regional and national ASAP offices, or even take on the responsibility of hosting a conference.
Each Student Ambassador improves valuable professional skills needed in the job market. Student Ambassadors develop recruitment, public relations, public speaking, networking, team building and event planning skills. Best of all, Student Ambassadors have fun and make long lasting friendships.
