I built my first model in 1958. In the beginning, I built kits regardless of scale, but in the early '60s I chose 1/72 scale for my hobby, although I build armour and cars in larger scales.

As the years went by, I got more and more interested in the history of WW II aviation and particularly wartime exploits of airmen. Many of my models depict specific pilots' planes.

My modelling skills have improved in the past six decades, however, I build models and not masterpieces or replicas.

Sixty-one years, and over 1,000 built and less than 30 unbuilt kits later, my fascination with the hobby has not diminished. On the contrary!
