The Friends of Arlington's David M. Brown Planetarium is a 501(c)(3) organization that supports the public school system planetarium in Arlington, VA and promotes science education for the general public. As part of its ongoing public education mission, the group raises funds to sponsor a college scholarship, grants for teacher professional development, and the licensing of programming for the planetarium. The organization also hosts a variety of science themed public events and screenings of fulldome videos.
