The Savannah District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers manages a multimillion dollar military design and construction program for 11 Army and Air Force installations in Georgia and North Carolina. Our construction projects range from barracks, hospitals and clinics to equipment shops, training facilities and airplane hangars.

The Savannah District also oversees and maintains civil works projects - the Savannah and Brunswick harbors, the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW) and three lakes and hydroelectric dams along the Savannah River -- Hartwell, Richard B. Russell and J. Strom Thurmond.
