For as far as my memory serves, the thrill of being captivated and mesmerized by a great photo always brought out the most profound emotional response within me. Whether the tones were deep and dark, or the colours were bright and bold, the initial feeling of excited discovery at seeing something you never seen before simply blows my mind.

So then when I began to experiment and try my hand in film photography it was like Christmas morning with each new wound roll. Waiting for photos to be developed was nerve racking! But it was buying my first Canon Rebel T1i that I truly began to embrace photography as more then a hobby. Years later and over 63,000 photos captured, the Canon 60D is the main body I shoot with now. Having captured spaces, events, and moments, I'm continually learning with each shoot on how to improve, be more creative and try new and different angles and ideas.

My goal is to be able to turn my passion into a more full time way of life. Photography and the power of the still image has captured my heart and holding the camera in my hands help focus the soul.
