SASP is a multi-disciplinary area studies programme within the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences (FASS) in the National University of Singapore (NUS). It seeks to promote a deep, enhanced and multi-disciplinary knowledge of the South Asian region through a range of courses spread over full four years of the undergraduate experience, including Honours. The Programme also offers post-graduate research opportunities at the masters and doctoral levels. Established in July 1999, the Programme is one of the fastest growing at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
