Photography is my passion.
Photography is the one thing that completely relaxes me, takes my mind off the most troublesome thoughts and worries.
Photography has been a wonderful gift, it has given me many new friends, it has given me a much sharper eye for the beauty around me, and it has given me something to do ;-)
I very much enjoy other people's work, I love to keep a close eye on what the Really Good Photographers do, but also my (new) friends here on Flickr and Pbase. They constantly give me new ideas and perspectives, and teach me about composition, light, colours and techniques. I think it is very important to always look at photographs and think about why you like or dislike something.
