History of roadsideobjects.com

The very first strange object I ever took a picture of was a Giant Coke Can in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, in 1998. Since 2001, I have been taking pictures of different objects and statues. From 2009 to 2023, I had a website called www.roadsideobjects.com. However. the price kept going up. So I could no longer afford it, I switched all pictures to Flickr.com. Ricard Donnan roadsideobjects. Flickr also allowed me to include as many pictures in each folder as I wanted. Put up as much information about a picture as I want without having to pay an extra fee

Now have over 2030 pictures from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, currently on this Flick page. With more added every month. I have objects from other places, but I only include Western Canada, because I simply can't travel across Canada to get all those pictures. Also, more are being made all the time. So I have enough trouble just getting the pictures from Western Canada alone.
