The purpose behind making these pictures and stories is to save humanity -- my own!

Sasha is an alias, taken from my first toy subject. This stream was originally a "day in the life" of a doll. The "Lab" started in a hotel while I was working out of town for about two years. It has continued since then, providing a creative outlet for me and a chance to have an alter ego, in the tradition of superheroes.

Toys make great models. They can hold a pose, work long hours for reasonable rates, do their own stunts, and never complain. Lighting and sets are smaller and easier to move. No plastic animals are harmed in the making of these photos.

I continue to work on my photography and editing skills, so your comments (both critical and encouraging) are welcome. I have learned a lot from other Flicker-ers, not only by studying others' pictures, but by their encouragement and suggestions.
