Romantic paintings of historic Savannah with its flowers and natural landscapes have formed the cornerstone of Ms. Saseen's success. In 1985, she illustrated a print of the Old City Market for the thirtieth anniversary of the Historic Savannah Foundation.

In 1987, her prints were featured in a special promotion sponsored by Lord and Taylor entitled "Focus America: Savannah." In 1995 she was honored in a Savannah News Press poll as "Savannah's Best Artist."

Today, she is deeply involved in challenging new projects. Ms. Saseen is proficient in a variety of media, including oil, acrylic, mixed media, and pen and ink. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Art Education degree from the University of Georgia, as well as a Master of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University. On art scholarships she studied in Italy, and and attended Parson's School of Art and Design in New York City.
