Have been working in the land surveying industry for the past 20 years in Australia and am currently studying a bachelor of arts degree in multimedia, communication, and public relations fields. Surveying is a rough job at times so carrying around expensive cameras and lenses is not a practical one given variation in the different terrain covered from mountains to rivers, creeks, flood plains, valleys, urban areas, and many other places. So the Caplio R7 has been it for about the last 2 years trying to make up for the missed 18 years of opportunities. Have since received a Cannon DSLR and have now been working as a graphic designer for the day job, supplemented by arts related documenting photographic work.
