I have been taking photos since 2010 with a DSLR camera. I started on the Canon Rebel XS and now use a Canon 7D.

I enjoy taking photos of landscapes, birds, animals, and plants. Basically, anything that captures my eye and allows me to share that beauty. A lot of my photos come from Skagit Valley where I live. We are blessed to have mountains and snow capped hills surrounding us, while also a beautiful river valley that leads to the Puget Sound. If you live in the area, I'm always happy to go out and about with someone.

More recently you will find pictures for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County in my feed. My day job is with this fantastic organization and at times they need pictures, so which means I have plenty of experience in Event Photography.

I have learned as a photographer you have to be able to let others have their opinion of your "art". Not everyone will enjoy the photos you have taken the way you might yourself.
