I'm a German living in Sydney, Australia, with all the pros and cons that such a situation offers.

Although I sit in front of my computer a lot, I love being outdoors, and it's difficult for me to see something beautiful and not take a picture of it. I love nature, in all its forms: animals, plants, landscapes, clouds, sunsets, and much more.

My absolute passion lies in pictures of Scotland's landscape! However, I am now about as far away from this wonderful place as possible, so I rely on others to show me Scotland's beauty!

I am probably also the biggest sucker for sunsets anyone has ever met. If there is a great sunset outside, I stop with whatever I'm doing, to follow it until the sky is dark.

I have a Canon EOS 400D and love it to bits, just as much as my Flickr account.

I am particularly interested to see pictures of remote places on our planet, the further away from the civilization, the better.
