Sarcastagram is all about letting those crazy hipsters and their iPhones know that Instagram is getting old. Seriously, Apple puts all this R&D in to creating a phone with a really powerful camera so that you can butcher up photos with filters designed to make them look worse. Back in the film era, companies worked hard to produce film that would make photos look as clean and natural as possible. Now that we've collectively switched to digital, this is no longer an issue — so why is there this useless nostalgia about poor quality film? Aren't we past this? Can't we embrace good imaging techniques.

So in response, Sarcastagram was born as a sarcastic response to those so-called "artistic" Instagram photos which really, just look like everyone else's Instagrams.
