It's been way overdue but now is the time I let everyone know just how wonderful Sarah's photography is. Her photography has an atmosphere about it that is unique and that you don't see often. Her imagination is gorgeous and the capture technique is flawless. It's been a pleasure to follow her photostream over the last year and I can safely say, she sets the bar to a certain level in portrait photography using natural surroundings.....

I have been viewing Sarah's stream and reading her words for a few months now, and she is one of my favorite contacts. Sarah is devoted to her writing as well as photography, and her stories, photo titles, and introspective essays are always a great read. The titles often seem well suited to greeting card text. She makes faces and eyes sparkle. Her art of portraiture is straightforward, with no pretenses, featuring creative composition, attractive outdoor settings, well-chosen color combinations, and glowing natural lighting. She makes eye colors really stand out and captures natural-looking happy moments during posed sessions, which is not so easily done. Her self-portraits show her own natural beauty and vulnerability. But she does not dwell on self-portraits, seeming to truly enjoy her photographic encounters with others, as I do. And she is a loyal flickr contact, showing up often to comment.
