I set this account up following a trip to the falklands, South Georgia and the antarctic peninsula.

I want to show that it is possible to take semi decent photos with a comparatively cheap camera (I have a bridge) and to include some photos that others wouldn't bother with (who else goes to Antarctica and photographs jellyfish?)

Although most photos are taken on auto mode, I do not edit afterwards except for a very occasional slight crop. (Necessary sometimes when on a moving vessel)

Now however, i find myself getting addicted, and am adding some other photos. Enjoy!
