Sanzen's photography is one of the happiest discoveries i've made, here on flickr. Someone's photostream through which i constantly go back to with still the same renewed pleasure. A perfect mix between photojournalism and art, his work has become an endless source of inspiration, and makes me realize how hard i have to work! His portraiture of India, a country i think of as one of the most fascinating in the world, is especially dear to me, as it shows the richness and diversity of this land like no other. And when i find myself back at home, missing India so much that it hurts, i know where to turn! Bahut Dhanyavad!

For someone to be able to capture the soul and essence of the wonderful people he photographs, you have to have a beautiful soul yourself! Each one of his pictures is a journey, a story. A journey into the eyes of the person, the story of their lives. I find his stream inspirational - a wonderful experience through a variety of cultures, feelings, places and people. This testimonial falls very short of what I actually feel about his beautiful talent, but unfortunately, this is all I can do with words.... One adopts a routine here on flicker, pour coffee, look through the latest photos from your contacts and post a few photos of your own. But there are a rare few photographers that you study, you look beyond the surface details the tricks of the trade. Sanzen is one of these rare light moulding artists. At first you assume that it is the subject matter that he captures, or the rich colors, or the interesting dress, or the jewelry. Then it hits you long after the coffee has gotten cold - it is the humanness with which he sees his subjects, the ordinary glimpses into daily life. Sanzen has a thoroughgoing love of people and the talent to capture the life in people eyes. For that we must all be grateful. It is the consistency of vision that makes his pictures so important. All we can hope for is the international release of his book. If you are in publishing you could not do much better than this, He deserves the widest possible distribution. BIRD

I want to walk beside Sanzen and meet those he meets, experience cultures he experiences, and take the same photos he takes (praying they could be half as good as his). Through his lens, Sanzen lets us meet exotic people in exotic places. Yet, at the same time, we see that they are real people, like you and me, and through his skill, he allows us to comfortably enter their world. Thank you, Sanzen, for the magic you put into my life!
