I love beauty. Not classical stereotype everything-is-perfect beauty, but more like a glimps, a moment, a gaze of something more than just what's in front of me.

The idea behind most of my personal work is abstract, an instinct or a certain ambiance rather then a concrete subject or message. Like a musical composition is a combination of sounds, my work could be defined as a combination of elements, feelings and improvising.

I strive perfection in photography: beauty, dreams and technique without losing the 'natural appearance' of the image. In my edits I always choose subtile colorchanges, contrast and density in order to create a certain atmosphere and even when the edits are bigger, I always try to make them have a subtile, natural feel.

Hope you enjoy my work!

PS.: If I add you as a "friend" That`s because your work is very interesting to me and so, when I look at my contact`s photo`s, I can easily see your work by switching to "show friends only".

PS2.: I am not much of a commentator since I`ve realised that most people just comment to get comments and not because they genuienly like the photo..

I do comment, but more often I fave... to me fave-ing is a better compliment too :-) and besides I wouldn`t have the time for all that commenting even if I wanted to...

So if u are just here to get comments, u will be disapointed I guess..

I wish I had the words and knowledge to adequately describe the brilliance of this talented young artist/photographer. From concept to set-up, staging, photographing, processing, editing and presentation so stunning, beautiful and inspiring. Her "Claudia" is certainly a companion piece to any work of "Interview with the Vampire". Perhaps the only way it would have been improved would have been if Kirsten Dunst were the model, but the young model she selected so subtly capturing the spirit. She has great range in style. Even within one elaborate shooting set, such range is on display sometimes greatly changing the appearance and mood, from realistic to ghostly to the flavor of peeking inside a highly detailed miniature. Each with a uniqueness of its own and each with its own emotion and feeling. And occasionally with a little something here and there to throw the viewer off a bit and challenge our senses. Thank you for sharing your wonderful brilliance and best wishes for much continued success. M.

Sophie has an amazing vision shown through her photography. She really knows light and will always give you something you can feel. I admire her work and feel very humble when looking through her photostream. Her editing skills are like no other. Just the right amount of darkness. Check out her site: www.sophierata.com
