I continue to be amazed by the beauty and the diversity of the human face and of human behavior, and I spend many hours people watching. This is a great joy for me.

For I over a dozen years I lived very close to the Santa Fe Plaza in New Mexico , and many of my photographs are inspired by the lovely people and families who gravitate to the plaza throughout the year - and especially during its festivals and fiestas.

A good many of my more recent photographs were taken in the Gaza Strip and in Egypt.

I lived in the Gaza Strip from March of 2014 to June of 2015, and documented much of what I found there during this 15 month residency. Frankly, my 15 months in Gaza were life changing, and I continue to be devoted to the good people of Gaza and to all of the Palestinians worldwide.

I spent the next six months of 2015 living in the cities of Cairo and Alexandria in Egypt.

When not behind a camera, I spend most of my life dedicated to the good people of Gaza.

I have many friends who live in Gaza, and I hope to return there in the future. Insh'Allah.
