I was born in Germany in 1982, and left for Japan after graduating university. I speak German, English, and Japanese, which helped in adjusting to life in the big city.

Since 2009 I've been working as as a teacher and researcher in the field of Early Childhood Care & Education, but photography has become my passion.

To me, Tokyo is a magical place. The multifaceted character of its population is mirrored in the city's architecture, and each area of the metropolis brings its own special atmosphere to the table.

I would like to try and combine the infinite potential of these surroundings with my own creative vision. My current work includes street photography, land- and cityscapes, and event photography.
