Greetings,

My name is Cameron Sandage, some call me Cam, you can if you like. I am working on completing my Bachelors of Science in Graphic Design with a minor in Advertising Management. I anticipate finishing my degree by June of 2012.

When starting school in 2005, I jumped between getting an advertising degree or a graphic design degree while working on a associates of arts Oregon transfer degree from Mt. Hood Community College. However after a half a dozen math related classes I realized the business program to get an advertising degree was not for me. And jumped back to my true passion of design; enrolling into the fall PSU Graphic Design program in 2009. When I enrolled at PSU I already had a vast print based background, having worked in a large corporate copy chain for five years, running a two colors offset press and screen printing in high school, and worked for a sign company doing sign production. During 2006 to 2010 I worked as a print broker and freelance graphic designer.

What is my end game? Where do I want to be? I really have fallen in love with branding; the whole process of branding a business and how they look to the world intrigues me. I am also really interested in advertising; packaging and book cover design. I would really like to work in a large / small scale studio working on a team to create new identities, advertising campaigns, packaging and / or book cover's when I graduate. I also would really like to get a masters degree some time in the future.
