As many of you know, Sam Robb passed away the summer of 2007 from a four year battle with bone cancer at the age of 20. Sam had lettered in football, basketball and baseball at Blessed Trinity when he first discovered that his life was going to radically change. After his first bout with cancer, Sam transferred to Centennial in order to play baseball and attended Young Harris where he continued his baseball career. Those of us who knew Sam, realize how much he impacted our community and how many lives he touched in his short time here on Earth.
To memorialize Sam's spirit, a named fund within CURE Childhood Cancer has been established to support a Pediatric Cancer Research Fellow at Emory Medical School/Children Healthcare of Atlanta. More information www.curechildhoodcancer.org
