I started taking photographs in 1976 with a Kodak Instamatic 126.

As far as the railway photographs go I never really paid much detail to the trains the loco's were hauling, it was a case of if something interesting turned up I took a picture.

Some of the lesser quality images on my site I have included for there rarity.

Most images have been scanned from the original negative or transparency, or in the case of all shots after 2005 taken digitally, with the exception of a few where the neg / transparency has been lost or damaged.

All images on this site were taken by me and are copyright.

I have been made aware that some of my shots have found their way on to ebay.

They were not put up for sale by me. If you would like a copy of one of my shots PLEASE ASK. You may save yourself some money and not technically line the pockets of a thief.

If anyone out there has bought one of my shots, maybe a donation to charity may be in order in lieu of a payment to the myself as the copyright holder.
