About the nick: years ago, I worked with another Sammy. Other Sammy was from Jamaica, and quickly developed the nickname Sammy Man (which we pronounced, as he did, Sommy Mon). For clarity's sake, I offered "Sammy Baby," as a nick for me, and it stuck.

I'm married to a very special lady who also happens to be on Flickr. We live with our lovely daughter and a variable number of pets.
