If life were a vast desert, all I would need to survive would be a cell phone, mouthwash and Samira's friendship. She is an oasis of tranquility who breathes life into any traveler that is lucky enough to come across her. Samira's kind heart, her willingness to be the ear that few people care to be, her propensity to give the right advice at the most opportune time, her relentless (albeit mostly futile) pursuit to get me to open up and be less private and her borderline sadistic ability to put up with my occasional prick side makes Samira seem almost mirage-like. She is real. She is honest. She is my friend. And this traveler will forever be thankful for finding this ocean of kindness.
