My goal is to take photographs that can transport me back in time, letting me remember what it was like being at that specific place at the moment I snapped the image. I engage in “contemplative photography,” using all of my senses to soak up the environment that I'm immersed in, listening to its particular song, and observing and studying its unique features. That is the magic of photography: to experience a place fully and to document the moment, albeit in an imperfect way, and to capture an infinitesimal part of eternity, with a sliver of the Divine shining through.
