What can I say about Sam? We first met back in a special school for the aesthetically challenged, she was cured I’m pleased to say. However, after 6 months of arty nonsense we escaped one night under a hunter’s moon and ran off jumping a slow train to Bohemia. There, after much vino and frolics, we bought cheap cameras and have been snapping ever since. Her eye for making everyday ordinary objects interesting is obvious as you can see from her stream, and her legendary self portraits were recently discussed on BBC2’s The Culture Show. She is proof if proof were needed that you don’t have to go off to the Grand Canyon or climb the Alps to get great photographs, you can simply take your dog walkies and use a gifted eye. She’s a star.
