Sam I am has one of the most inspiring photostreams on flickr. sam is the *master* of taking the most simple things and making them profound. Sam's an expert at shallow dof as well and, unlike others, uses it carefully, thoughtfully, and appropriately. Visiting her stream is like a good sip of tea or coffee; a visit here helps to slow down time, taking a moment out to appreciate the little things. One day while browsing around Flickr I stumbled upon a photo of Sam's that was so intriguing I had to see more. Sam had taken an extremely low perspective road shot and commented about needing a "bokeh man" in the shot! Her humor and amazing talent drew me in and I couldn't wait to see more. Her passion for photography and creativity inspire me. I love her nature shots and in particular her love of leaves. Henry David Thoreau once said, "Nature will bear the closest inspection. She invites us to lay our eye level with her smallest leaf, and take an insect view of its plain." Sam has taken nature up on it's promise to not disappoint.
