I'm 28 years old and I'm sort of a photographer. Photographer? Really? It feels weird to say that. Well, I like to think of myself as a budding photographer, so let's go with that. I have started allowing myself that title only recently, and even now I sometimes feel like a fraud whenever that word leaves my lips.

I've been in love with taking pictures my whole life, but decided to develop my passion for it in just the last couple years. So I purchased a Canon Digital Rebel XSi, and took off on this awesome dial-fiddling adventure! Now, I pick up my camera every single day and hope to capture an image that not only pleases me, but also inspires me to improve and push my technical limits. And if others get some joy from my photos, that's a nice little benefit too. =)

I'm still figuring out my style, but I love finding the little moments and simple details that usually go unnoticed, working with natural light as much as possible to enhance the beauty of the scene, and doing minimal editing. I am toying with the idea of a Blurb book and website; we'll see where that goes.

As a side note, I am in constant awe of all my talented Flickr contacts. Seeing your photos every day inspires me to keep striving for those fantastic shots, so thank you!
