Sam makes helpful, sometimes detailed, suggestions. In doing so he walks the delicate line between being respectful and (the thing I value above all) honest. Sam generously takes his time to patiently, and with some enthusiasm, explain technical aspects of photography. He knows his stuff! He tolerates my occasional gaffs. He’s very prepared to hold up his hands to his own. I love his sense of humour. A good egg! His own photographs are at the very least ‘interesting’ (joke!) and are sometimes stunning. I particularly like the way he really digs into many situations, playing with them, exploring, not being satisfied until he has found something. I feel fortunate to be one of Mr Doha Sam’s small band of flickr contacts. Bless ya Sam!
