To cut a long story short, it's taken me a long while to adjust to digital photography. I never really got into DX (although I did try) but that might simply be because of the shift away from the simplicity of "the exposure triangle" with fixed ISO. I also did not make the time. Finally coughed up the cash to buy a D750 and eventually some new and classic second hand lenses then, in mid 2020 I thought "Stuff this, at 60+ if I don't make the time to get out there and muck around again I'm never going to learn how to use this thing" and I'm loving it. It's a long way from the Seconic light meter and Voigtlander Perkeo I borrowed from my mother in 1975 (and never returned) but I doubt I'll go back.

Some of the stuff I post here is repetitive, naive, rushed, dubious quality and poorly composed. Some of it I love, some of it I just find curious. For some of it I explain how I did it in the hope it might help others.
