After watching my dad for months playing around with his camera (and getting some pretty decent shots!) I really decided I wanted to be in on the fun too, so for my 17th birthday. I decided to go for a fairly decent camera.

I now have a Canon PowerShot S5 IS, and access to a Nikon D60. I love taking shots of everything, but particularly macro shots of insects and flowers. I'm still really a beginner photographer, and just getting used to my camera, and all the different settings. Any constructive comments to help me improve are very much appreciated!
