Keen amateur, I have a Sony Alpha300, with Sony 18-70 lens and a Tamron 55-200 lens, and a Manfrotto tripod.

I like to help Mother Nature, not change her, and enjoy fiddling around in Photoshop Elements v 6.

Best book buy? "The Photoshop Elements 6 book for digital Photographers" by Scott Kelby and Matt Kloskowski. A very good read as well as cutting straight to the point without having to read an essay to get to it!

I'm new to Flickr (Jan 09) and hope I don't upset people when I say what I think. I'm not an expert but if something is crooked, I say so, and hope that no offence is taken. By the same token - I'd appreciate hearing how my pictures could be improved!
