I'm a historian and archivist who never met an antique photo (or a Lake Louie beer) I didn't like.
Two true confessions: (1) I'm old enough to remember wet dark rooms. (2) When I applied for college I chose Journalism as my major because I didn't know yet there was an occupation called archivist and I figured I could be the next Annie Liebowitz. Ah, youth.
After I got my master's degree in library/archives, I spent about six years as historical image researcher at American Girl.
These days I help the keepers of the family photos to organize, preserve and share their memories.
