I am from India, a nature enthusiast and fly fighters for passion and living.

Got interested in bird watching as part of school science project in 8th standard.

Got initiated to photography through my dad who has a Yashica fx2 manual SLR, did some B&W developing and printing at home along with dad, carried on further at academy hobby club, also tried hands at colour printing (chemical) there.

Realized the pleasures of digital photography pretty late and the two interests came together when I got my Fuji finepix S5600.

Am also into trekking and wildlife/landscapes photography.

I do plan to put shots of birds, animals and some landscapes.

The classifications / identification of birds are based on Handbook of Indian Birds by Salim Ali and may not always be correct and corrective observations are invited.

Few of the photographs are not really good, due to light conditions / distances involved but have been put to enable correct identification of the subject and thus will be my endeavour to map the images.
