Sajeta Art&Music Festival
Drag to set position!
At its beginnings at the end of the 90s Sajeta was special because of its innovative and productive workshops. Then in 2002 we realized there weren't any really provocative and challenging music festivals which would cross genres and offer electronic music, jazz, rock, ethno, experimental and other traditions on the same stage. We therefore wanted to make a strong author-driven festival that would acquaint audiences with contemporary approaches in music and also highlight overlooked names in this or that musical alternative.
Indeed, our invitations were taken up by artists as diverse as Fennesz, Radian, Richard Pinhas, Francesco Cusa, Alexander Balanescu, Trevor Watts, Thilges 3, Zlatko Kaučič, The Magic Carpathians, Joseph Suchy, B. Fleischmann, Tanja Feichtmeir, Sylvain Chauveau, Schlammpeitziger, Damir Avdić and many others, all of whom we are grateful to for their wonderful contributions to the festival.
In Tolmin contemporary new age mythology, Sajeta is a supernatural, mystical being from the edges of perception, and that's what the festival is trying to stay like: provocative and juicy.
