I am an enthusiastic novice living in Perth, Western Australia. I have been taking photo's and experimenting with a compact Lumix TZ7 for a few years and was fortunate enough to be able to purchase my first DSLR (Nikon D7000) late 2011.

I am fascinated by the technical aspects of digital photography (there is so much to learn and so much creative opportunity!) and enjoy experimenting as well as reviewing/admiring the work of others.
