I'm Pippa

The things I love most in this world are God, family, music and working with young people, in that order. And boats, sailing dinghies or historic narrow boats.

At the moment I shoot with either:

a Canon EOS 1100 - a relatively new toy that was combination 21st/graduation present from my parents. I'm still getting the hang of how to use it, but I love it! As it was new (and I am still a student) I can't afford to get any exciting lenses to play with, but I think this is a good thing as it forces me to learn how to use the camera properly first!

or

an Olympus Mju 850SW compact - picture quality isn't so great, and you have frustratingly little control, but it's WATERPROOF so it's great for my favourite sport - sailing! And bash-proof, so good for taking along to things where I'd need a small bag/free hands etc.

Sometimes I borrow other cameras from parents/friends/nice people. Some of the shots in my photostream were taken on a Pentax MZ-7 film SLR - on long term loan from my dad. A lovely bit of kit, and I had great fun playing with filters and other bits of pre-photo editing! But it has gone back to him now that I have my shiny new D-SLR. I also loved the noises it makes =D
