I’m drawn to photography for it’s ability to allow me to see the world around me not only with my eyes, but to contemplate what I see through heart and mind. I am inspired by the moments and details we overlook, or otherwise lose to memory. This collection of work is an attempt to collect brief, passing moments and hold them in meditation. I strive to create images derived from memory and personal history as a means to fulfill my desire to better understand my relationship with the world around me, and to evoke connection with the viewer.
